Brokaw Photography

Selecting a photographer is a matter of style, price and the photographer's approach.

Style:
I blend photojournalism with contemporary portraiture using an easy relaxed approach to put people at ease and bring out personalitie.   The majority of my photos are spontaneous images that express the moment. For portraits I use a combination of existing and enhanced lighting along with comfortable posing and composition to create a beautiful natural look to your photos.

Pricing:
Pricing is based on the coverage provided (the actual photography) and deliverables (prints, books and albums).   Clients first decide on coverage they would like and then later determine how they would like to receive their photos. Each wedding and each photo session is different and this approach provides maximum flexible for the client.

Personal Bio:
I grew up on the east coast and live in a small country farmhouse with my wife, two daughters and my two furry boys (Zen and Darwin, pictured here fighting for a tennis ball). My office/studio is located along the Delaware River in Frenchtown, NJ and I photograph extensively throughout the region.

I became a photographer at 10, built my first darkroom at 14 and professionally photographed my first wedding at 17. I've worked as an assistant and a photojournalist learning my craft from masters. I love photographing weddings, families and kids. Being a portrait and wedding photographer is all about creating images that bring joy.
